Marcus

Marcus (owner/operator) runs the show by coordinating jobs, operating the bucket truck, climbing trees, and all trimming and removal work. Marcus is a Kansas Arborist Association certified arborist, has completed the KAA Arborist Training Course, and maintains his education by attending several tree care workshops and field days throughout the year.

Jami

Marcus

Jami (owner/operator) joined the family in 2021. Her main duties are to run the books and paperwork, though she can also be seen dragging brush, driving trucks, and providing tree education to homeowners. Jami is also a KAA certified arborist and helps with consulting on insect/disease diagnoses, conservation planning, and tree law.

Tom

Tom joined the team in 2024 with a background in range management and wildlife habitat. You'll see him driving trucks, hauling brush, consulting on wildlife plans and tree plantings, and delivering educational programs in the community.

Haven Fall Festival Bicycle Giveaway

Each year during the Haven Fall Festival, children 0 - 10 years of age can sign up to win a bike of their choice from Richardson Tree Service! Stop by our booth at the Haven Fall Festival craft fair to register your kids for the free drawing. Six bikes are available for giveaway! Must be present to win!

Dave's Ping Pong Ball Drop

At the finale of the Haven Fall Festival Parade, Marcus raises the bucket truck to the highest height (60 feet) and drops over 200 ping pong balls for kids to collect. The balls can be turned in at the Richardson Tree Service booth to collect a special prize. This tradition was started in 2006 by Dave Richardson and continues each year in his honor.

Who will work on my trees?

The only person who will be cutting on your trees is Marcus. He's a certified, licensed and insured arborist accredited through the Kansas Arborist Association. Marcus maintains his certification by attending several field days, educational seminars, and tree workshops throughout the year.

Our tree service crew may assist in the bucket truck or on the ground with brush hauling, or you might see them flying solo while performing stump removal. They have been trained to operate the machinery safely and efficiently, and their work is covered under the necessary licenses and insurance.

Are you insured and licensed?

YES! We have all necessary licenses for each town in our service area, and we carry a full suite of insurance for all of our projects. We will have proof of both while on-site.

Tree removal/trimming, emergency services, brush hauling, stump grinding, firewood, etc.

What kind of tree work do you do?

Our tree services are versatile! We can do routine maintenance pruning all the way up to full removals and everything in between! Check out our services page to find a full list of services offered. Stump grinding, brush hauling, and firewood prep/stacking is also available.

Firewood available year round- call for more information. Delivery is negotiable.
